".... I love a sunburnt country, A land of sweeping plains, Of rugged Mountain ranges, of droughts and flooding rains..."     Dorothea MacKellar wrote in her poem "I love a sunburnt country" about the harsh conditions and the vast contrasts in the Australian landscape.  However, the extreme of our magnificent country, can and does reflect into the lives of so many.

The wife of a 'man on the land' who has to rally up the strength to display a positive outlook each day, to ensure the happiness of her children and the support of her man, during endless years of drought when all seems lost.
The Woman in the City, who often after a long day at work, still needs to find the enthusiasm and energy to motivate, support and care for her children and partner.
The Men of our Nation, finding their role and identity as a man, constantly changing both in the work place and in the home environment... And our future adults, all the beautiful young people, struggling with peer pressure, the competitiveness in our education system and the search for their own identity.

There is no wonder that at times, we all question 'why me'. The pressure to have, to be, to provide, to achieve, creates such stresses that we only manage to survive - not live.  Each and every person, whatever their chosen journey, seeks the same basic fundamental wants.  The want to feel in control, the want to feel happy, to feel secure, the want to feel love, the want to believe in Self.

The Media today bombards us with endless ways to make our exterior 'beautiful' and with the exception of exercise, none of these products and procedures give us much more than instant gratification.  Then occassionally we come across someone who radiates inner beauty. They are happy, positive and quietly seem to know exactly where they are heading. Their subconscious daily habits are the beauty aids which don't come from a bottle.

So just for a moment, stop and dream, imagine if you had this inner peace that no matter what difficulty challenges lay before you, you had the ability, the inner strength to make the right decisions to climb out of this difficult situation. That even in your darkest moment, you would know how to find ways to get back on track.  That is growth, that is focus, that is Success. with love Michelle x

View life as a series of movie frames, the ending and meaning may not be apparent until the very end of the movie, and yet, each of the hundreds of individual frames has meaning, within the context of the whole movie. View your life from your funeral, looking back at your life experiences, what have you accomplished? What would you have wanted to accomplish but didn't? What were the happy moments? What were the sad? What would you do again and what you wouldn't - Victor Frankl
